Major activities for Feeding Minds, Fighting Hugner are being undertaken in Canada by the Canadian FoodGrains Bank. As part of World Food Day 2001, the CFGB made available the FMFH lessons to all high schools in Canada, and in 2002, they sent a mailing to 10,000 individuals and groups across Canada encouraging the use of the FMFH materials. The FoodGrains Bank is also working with a national committee reviewing curriculum materials and has prepared a project proposal to have FMFH considered as a resource that can be used to raise agriculture and food security issues in new classroom syllabi.
The Ottawa Food Bank has put together a kit folder containing the Feeding Minds, Fighting Hunger materials for distribution to schools.
