The Faculty of Education of the Universidad Autonoma de Chiriquí, Panama, is including the Feeding Minds Fighting Hunger (FMFH) materials in the course program of Nutrition and Health Education for Pre-school children beginning in 2004. As part of the course work, the university students will be developing the FMFH modules for preschool children.
The FMFH materials have also been used in a pilot project involving selected intermediate level schools. Further implementation of FMFH is being explored for use in other schools in the rural areas of the Chiriquí region.
